Meet the Team

Robin Bennett - Founder and Managing Director

Robin founded The Aktuel Translation Group in London in 1992, after graduating from London University (Royal Holloway) with a degree in Modern Languages.

Aktuel Translations has grown steadily since to be one of the most respected technical translation agencies in the world and was recognised by the Who’s Who of British Business as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK in 2003. Robin also writes books and lectures on Entrepreneurship.

Married with 3 children, he will play just about any sport. Poorly.

When not in the office, she can usually be found rowing or baking.

Rosanna McDermott - Project Manager and In-house Translator

Rosanna, or Zanna as she prefers to be known, graduated from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh in 2017 having studied French. She particularly enjoyed the translation courses and cultural studies of her degree, the former of which she is enjoying making use of in her work as a translator and project manager.

When Zanna is not in the office, she enjoys dancing, drawing and trips to the theatre, and this year she hopes to finish writing her first book.
